For the 2016 Color of the Year, Pantone experts chose two colors that they felt truly represent the spirit of the times. Rose Quarts and Serenity- a dreamy duo seen throughout photography and fashion which has set new standards for modern art. Just as the pieces we see, these colors are simple yet hold a strong message behind them.
“In many parts of the world we are experiencing a gender blur as it relates to fashion, which has in turn impacted color trends throughout all other areas of design,” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, stated in this year’s press release.
To summarize this year’s shining moments in the design world, here is a color mood board I have collected. What do you think- were these the right colors to choose for this year?
